The town of Noxen, Pennsylvania welcomes the Mehoopany Wind Farm, a joint project between BP Wind Energy and Sempra U.S. Gas & Power. Set to be the largest wind project in the state of Pennsylvania, the Mehoopany Wind Farm moved into full construction in July 2012. Residents share how the community has been rejuvenated by the project, which will create about 250 jobs at the peak of construction. Once complete, the 9,000-acre wind farm will generate enough electricity to power over 40,000 homes.
